Omegon is a 2D Tower Defense game where strategy and customization take center stage. Adapt your tactics, combine powerful elements, and cleanse the world from the looming force known as The Corruption.

Infinite Synergies

One of Omegon’s standout features is its infinite synergies. By combining gems, towers, spells, and structures, you can create intricate strategies that evolve with your playstyle.

For instance:

• Fire gems  deal burning damage. Pair them with a Gold  gem and gilded enemies  will start to melt and leave damaging puddles that slow and harm others.
• Add a jade-tempest gem to that, and its thunder attacks will spread lightning to nearby golden enemies, amplifying the chaos.

But beware of negative synergies! For example:

• Using an ice gem to freeze enemies while placing it near fire gem will melt the ice into steam, negating fire damage and freeing frozen enemies.

And with Spells, Iso modifications and abilities the possibilities are endless, and each choice matters in building a winning strategy.

Combat the Corruption

The world of Omegon is under siege by The Corruption,  a force that twists nature and threatens everything. Your goal here is to free the world from this corruption, so saving your own Equilibrium Core won't be enough.

Corruption Meter: Each level has a corruption meter. As it rises, the gameplay becomes more difficult:

• Natural Increase: Corruption builds slowly over time.
• Enemies outside the corrupted areas will spread corruption faster.
• Corruption Waves: When these waves occur, each enemy touched by the wave spreads corruption and will be empowered.
• Corruptors: These tanky enemies don’t deal much damage but drastically raise corruption levels if not dealt with quickly.

Consequences of High Corruption:

• Towers suffer reduced damage, attack speed, and ability effectiveness.
• At extreme levels, towers in corrupted zones shut down entirely.
• Enemies gain speed, health, damage, and adapt faster to your strategies.
• The Restoration Core suffers increased damage taken, and slower ability recharge.
  

Rewarding Progression

Victory brings many rewards, which in turn, allows you to progress even quicker towards what you like!

Some rewards include:

• Gem Experience: to spend in each respective skill tree to unlock bespoke abilities or make gems generally stronger.
• Increasing the world purity: Cleansing corruption restores world purity, which unlocks Equilibrium Core Abilities, more structure types and Gem types.
• Iso Modifications: Procedural upgrades to enhance your arsenal, such as boosting damage, economy, or debuffing enemies.

Adaptive and Reactive Enemies

Enemies in Omegon don’t just get stronger, they adapt to your playstyle:

•  Strengthen Over Time: As waves progress, enemies natually get stronger.
• Defense Adaptation: Enemies gain resistance to your most-used damage types and abilities, encouraging strategic diversity.
• Special Abilities: Enemies teleport, cloak, dash, and debuff your defenses. They can also shield or empower each other, creating unpredictable challenges.
• Consequences: Overly relying on a certain strategy might even spawn additional waves that are exactly built to make you rethink your strategy.
